G-mode, Webpattern Technologies Sign Licensing Agreement for Online
Webpattern Technologies of South Korea and G-mode have signed a licensing agreement in which Webpattern will offer a series of G- mode’s (TSE: 2333) arcade game titles, which were developed and licensed by Data East, for online PC game players in South Korea.
The games include Tumble Pop, Stadium Hero, Act fancer Oybernetick hyper weapon, Super Buger Time and Spin master/Miracle Adventure. Each game offers up to seven plays for free. Users can play a title for 24 hours for a cost of about 30 yen ($0.27).
G-mode plans to actively launch new services both at home and overseas. The number of online game players in South Korea accounts for almost 70% of the entire online game population in the Asia- Pacific region.
