Petroecuador, Central U to Collaborate on Hydrogen Study
Business News Americas (BNamericas) recently reported that Ecuadoran oil company Petroecuador announced earlier this week it has signed an agreement with the Central University of Ecuador to conduct a one-year feasibility study on the use of hydrogen as a potential energy source for the country for the next 50 years.
BNamericas said Petroecuador also noted that the $114,805 study will entail the development of a pilot plant to produce “industrial” hydrogen.
