U.S. international transactions – ending second quarter 1994 – International Statistics – Illustration
In the capital accounts, U.S. claims on foreigners reported by U.S. banks decreased $15.1 billion in the second quarter of 1994, in contrast to an increase of $1.2 billion in the first quarter. U.S. liabilities to private foreigners reported by U.S. banks, excluding Treasury securities, increased $24.8 billion in the second quarter, following an increase of $35.2 billion in the first quarter.
