Selected measures of unemployment and unemployment insurance programs – ending April, 1992 – Employment, Unemployment, and Wages – Illustration

In April, the percentages of the unemployed who had been out of work for less than 5 weeks and for 15-26 weeks fell, and the percentages for 5-14 weeks and for 27 weeks and over rose. The mean duration of unemployment fell to 17.0 weeks and the median duration rose to 8.8 weeks.
