BUSINESS SALES AND INVENTORIES–Manufacturing and Trade
In August, according to preliminary estimates, manufacturing and
trade sales rose 0.7 percent and inventories rose $9.3 billion.
According to advance estimates, retail sales rose 1.5 percent in
September. Retail and food services sales also rose 1.5 percent.
