BUSINESS SALES AND INVENTORIES–Manufacturing and Trade

In February, manufacturing and trade sales fell 0.9 percent and inventories rose $7.1 billion. In March, according to preliminary data, manufacturing and trade sales rose 1.8 percent. According to current estimates, retail sales rose 2.2 percent in March. Retail and food services sales rose 2.1 percent. (Series revised.)
