Prices
PRODUCER PRICES
The producer price index for all finished goods was unchanged in
August. Prices of finished consumer foods fell 0.4 percent, while prices
of other finished consumer goods rose 0.2 percent. Capital equipment
prices fell 0.1 percent.

CONSUMER PRICES–ALL URBAN CONSUMERS
In August, the consumer price index for all urban consumers rose 0.3
percent both seasonally adjusted and not seasonally adjusted. The index
was 1.8 percent above its year-earlier level.
