PRODUCER PRICES
The producer price index for all finished goods rose 0.1 percent in
September. Prices of finished consumer foods rose 0.1 percent, while
prices of other finished consumer goods were unchanged. Capital
equipment prices rose 0.4 percent.

In September, the consumer price index for all urban consumers
rose 0.2 percent both seasonally adjusted and not seasonally
adjusted. The index was 2.5 percent above its year-earlier level.
