Business sales and inventories – manufacturing and trade – ending January 1996 – Production and Business Activity – Brief Article – Illustration

In December, manufacturing and trade sales rose 1.0 percent and inventories fell $2.4 billion. According to advance data, retail sales fell 0.3 percent in January following a rise of 0.6 percent in December.
