Historically Black Colleges – Letters To The Editor – Letter to the Editor

Vinetta Wesley

Outstanding! Outstanding! The special section, “Historically Black Colleges And Universities” (Sept. 2002), was very timely. Historically Black colleges and universities have been a key source in the development of the African-American middle class. The importance of the academic- and nurture-based environment cannot be underestimated in building a stronger foundation for future success in the workplace.

Continue presenting such articles to the public. The young and not so young need a more balanced view of the many key factors in selecting a college. Without a magazine such as this one, that truth may not be as widely told.
