Delivering “got milk?” message to kids
Hitting the highways of children’s imagination recently, a new “got milk?” delivery truck is offered at major toy retailers and mass merchandisers across the nation.
The Califomia Milk Processor Board (CMPB) and Mattel partnered to release the Hot Wheels Dairy Delivery TM Truck, which features fully detailed chassis, stylized version of a 1950s-era milk delivery truck, two-door loading bed with a complete supply of milk, chrome-look five-spoke wheels and “got milk?” logo and custom graphics emblazoned on side panels. “This latest partnership with Mattel is the perfect example of the power of ‘got milk?’ to attract and leverage great brands to sell more milk,” says Jeff Manning, executive director of the CMPB. In 1996, CMPB and Mattel came out with a limited edition “got milk?” Barbie doll to remind young consumers to drink their milk.
