Gov. Holden bans concealed weapons in state buildings
Staff Writer
Governor Bob Holden has banned concealed weapons in state owned or operated businesses to protect the safety of state employees and the general public. Weapons are currently banned in state buildings but would have been allowed under the new concealed weapons legislation. Holden had vetoed the legislation, which was overridden by the Missouri Legislature, and will now take effect Oct. 11.
