GoldK

Waltham, Mass.-based GoldK, a provider of online retirement plans, announced Monday that it received another $10.5 million in venture capital through a second closing of its Series B round. The new $9.5 million investment came from TH Lee Putnam Ventures. Lazard Technology Partners led a $26.3 million Series B investment in GoldK in December 2000. Nuland & Arshad Inc., Lee Munder Venture Partners and Pilot House Ventures also participated in the round. Combined with GoldK’s initial funding of $10.8 million from a group of undisclosed private investors in 2000, GoldK has raised more than $47 million. Proceeds will be used to develop GoldK’s ability to provide easy-to-use online retirement plans. — Tyson Freeman www.TheDeal.com
