Chase Gregory, 11, of Manhattan Beach had his poem, titled “Adventure,” published in the August edition of Highlights for Children magazine.
Besides writing poetry, the sixth-grade student at Manhattan Beach Middle School enjoys reading, writing, camping and soccer. He plans to become a writer.
More than 2 million copies of Highlights go out 12 times a year to children’s homes, schools, libraries and professional offices.
