Showcase deal for Scudo

Showcase deal for Scudo – news

AUTOMOTIVE GLAZING SPECIALIST National Windscreens has chosen to replace its existing fleet of Citroen and Peugeot vans at its new showcase Slough depot with Fiat Scudo vans.

Over the course of this year, 30 Scudo vans will be delivered to National Windscreens, which took delivery of 20 in 2001.

All are powered by normally aspirated 1.9-litre diesel engines and are liveried with the company insignia.

Paul Swanick, national sales manager, remarks: “We have enjoyed a good relationship with Fiat for the past two years, and chose the Fiat Scudo as it is far superior to its competitors in terms of space and reliability. The back-up and service we receive from Fiat is second to none.”

National Windscreens opened its new depot in Slough at the beginning of the year as part of an energetic nationwide expansion programme.

With the aid of its fleet of Scudo vans, the new Slough depot will offer a greatly enhanced service to motorists throughout the region, as well as serving local garages, bodyshops, transport companies and corporate fleets.

Supplied to National Windscreens through Sanderson Albany Lease, the first Fiat vans were handed over to Paul Swanick at the Slough depot by Justin Beale, Fiat Auto’s regional fleet sales manager. The vans were prepared by Fiat dealer CD Bramall of Plymouth, Devon.
