London underground constructor switches allegiance to Fiat Scudo – news – D and D Construction – Brief Article
TEN FIAT SCUDO vans have been delivered to D&D Construction, an approved London Underground contractor, to replace its existing fleet of Toyotas.
All the Scudo vans come equipped with fixed bulkheads, dual seats and an interior ply lining, and are powered by normally aspirated 1.9-litre diesel engines. The fleet has been liveried with the company insignia.
David Farrow, managing director of D&D Construction, remarked: “We decided on the Fiat Scudo because it offers the best value for money in the mid-van range. The flexibility of Scudo ensures that all of our business requirements can be met. This is a comfortable and practical working tool that enables our drivers to arrive at their destination fresh for the day’s challenge ahead.”
Commenting on the supplier, Fiat dealer HWS of Westcliffe-on-Sea, Farrow said: “The order was placed with HWS as the company was friendly, accommodating and met all of our specification and time constraints. It is also good to do business with a local dealership, assuring a good relationship and aftersales service.”
