With this issue, Ron Faucheux steps down as our editor-in chief.
The ownership, management and staff of Campaigns & Elections extends to him our full appreciation for his more than a decade of service to this magazine and for his career commitment to improving our political system.
The magazine’s readers and the entire political community are truly fortunate to have had the benefit of his steadfast integrity and professionalism.
We are also fortunate that he will continue to make significant contributions to this magazine in the future–including his award-winning column and his extraordinarily accurate elections handicapping service, The Political Oddsmaker–in his new position as Publisher Emeritus and Contributor-at-Large.
Ron Faucheux’s superb efforts and innovative leadership as both publisher (1993-1998) and editor-in-chief (1993-2003) infused new life into Campaigns & Elections and turned it into a publication of international importance, credibility and respect.
For the many citizens, candidates, consultants, managers, elected officials, volunteers, committee directors, issue advocates, teachers and students he has inspired and assisted through out his distinguished career, we thank Ron Faucheux on behalf of all of us.
