Rewriting History, by Dick Morris, Regan Books, 320 pages, May 2004, $24.95.

Skewers Hillary Clinton and challenges the accuracy of parts of her own recent memoir. Morris has a long, rocky history with the Clintons, as a consultant to former President Clinton’s gubernatorial campaigns and his 1996 re-election race. Morris believes the subject of his book is a likely presidential candidate in 2008 and seems to be doing his part to undo what he claims is the false image Mrs. Clinton has long cultivated.
