This is a very substantial collection of original essays that seeks to capture the full spectrum of thinking about restorative justice as a force for global good. This is the unabashed thesis that is explicit in the editors’ introduction: ‘the healing dimension of restorative justice: a one-world body’. Whether the evangelicism of their introduction is carried through in the chapters that follow is one of the themes to be explored in this review.
