All about Eve – model Eve Salvail reportedly reveals that she is a lesbian – Brief Article

MODEL EVE SALVAIL has been shocking fashionistas for years with her shaved and tattooed head. Recently she raised more than a few pencil-thin plucked eyebrows when she went on Chaunce Hayden’s eYada.com show, kicked back a couple of tequila shots, and declared, “I’m a lesbian. I date only women!” At first, when Salvail arrived at the studio with male band mates from her alternative rock group 10 watt mary, she was rather subdued. After discovering a tequila bottle in the studio, however, she opened up considerably. “I just assumed she liked guys,” says Hayden. “So I made a comment that a guy like me wouldn’t have a chance with her. Then she said that she likes redheads with tattoos–and I have red hair and tattoos. But then she added that you have to have a vagina.” Salvail, a Quebec native who was discovered by Jean-Paul Gaultier in 1991 and has appeared on the cover of Elle magazine, went on to say that she had left modeling to concentrate on her singing career. (An interview request by The Buzz went unanswered by press time.) Salvail further tantalized the online audience by stating that she’s now involved with a supermodel. Apparently one drink shy of breaking a major story, Hayden wasn’t able to get Salvail to reveal the name–or to continue imbibing. Her mary mates did tell him that the girlfriend attends all of their concerts. When the host asked if the supergirlfriend’s vibe around Salvail was like that of Yoko Ono with John Lennon, “they laughed,” recalls Hayden, “and said, `Yeah, sometimes that’s a problem!'”
