Hardigg to Rotomold battery parts

USA: Hardigg to Rotomold battery parts

According to Plastic News, South Deerfield, Massachusetts-based Hardigg Industries, Inc. has moved the manufacturing of its battery components to its plant in Columbus, Indiana, and eventually wants to lead into the custom rotational molding business.

The Indiana facility currently has two rotomolding machines; a Ferry RX-430 and a McNeil 1500, sales manager Michael Otto said.

To start, those machines will be used to make its polyethylene battery parts. Hardigg hopes eventually to break into custom rotomolding of large, recreational and environmental products, Otto said.
