TKCI Announces Wind Farm Engineering Contracts

Irvine, CA-based energy consulting firm The Keith Companies, Inc. (TKCI) announced it has been hired to provide engineering services for the connection systems of two wind power facilities under construction in the U.S.

The contracts are to provide a collector system and interconnect substation for the 75-megawatt Klondike II Wind Project in Oregon and the 100-MW Trimont Wind Project in Minnesota. Both facilities are being built by PPM Energy, and both are expected to be fully operational by the end of 2005.

“We have positioned ourselves solidly to provide quality services to the renewable energy production markets,” said TKCI chairman and CEO Aram Keith.
