Point Power to Include Wind Turbines in NY Energy Program
Point Power Systems recently announced that three of its wind turbines will be included in the New York Energy $mart End-use Wind Incentive Program, part of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority’s (NYSERDA) initiatives to stimulate demand for renewable energy through customer rebates.
“This comes at a time when we expect the New York State market to take off with the passage of net-metering for wind generator installations,” said Point Power Systems director of business development John King. “Now homeowners, farms and other small businesses can take full advantage of the wind on their property to cut their energy costs.”
According to the company, one kilowatt (kW), six kW and 12 kW wind turbines will be provided.
