How I’m keeping the weight off for good

Shape reader Tina Theall, 39, from Naperville, Ill., ditched more than 30 pounds a year and a half ago and watched her self-esteem skyrocket. Her strategies:

* Declare Saturdays my all-you-can-eat day.

“When I get cravings for pizza, Mexican food or chocolate, I tell myself I can have as much as I want on my cheat day. Funny thing is, after filling up on healthy meals all week, I feel so good that I don’t want to overindulge on junk food and blow the progress I’ve made.”

* Make sleep a priority.

“If I’m rested, I have energy for exercise and the willpower to stick to a healthy diet. I take better care of myself when I sleep enough.”
