As a Baywatch star, Donna D’Errico had pretty much lived the glamorous Hollywood life. But after the C-section birth of her second child, and an interest in holistic medicine took hold, she needed a calming place to unwind. Finding the spas in Beverly Hills too pretentious, she opened her own, ZenSpa, located in the Los Angeles suburb of Calabasas. The heart of the spa is a library of spiritual reading, complete with pots of herbal tea, lilting Eastern music, aromatherapy and a trickling fountain. In addition to mud wraps, coconut scrubs, reflexology and ayurvedic massage, clients can opt for the creme de la creme treatment: the Classical Rock Massage, in homage to D’Errico’s husband, Motley Crue bass player Nikki Sixx.
