Lamp Lighting

Smt. Bakul Tambat Institute of Nursing Education of the Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha, Karvenagar held its third lamp lighting ceremony on 7.1.2003. Thirty one GNM students formally took the oath to serve the community. Shri Vijay Kumar Vitthal Samant, Registrar, Maharashtra Nursing Council Mumbai was the Chief Guest, which was presided over by Dr. Mrs. Jayashree Firodia. Meena Ganapathy, Principal of the Institute gave a brief review of its progress so far. Dr. Snehlata Sahatrabuddhe Chairperson of Local Managing Committee of Institute of Nursing Education gave the welcome address and Smt. Shubhada Ponkshe proposed the vote of thanks.

Padmashree Dr. D.Y. Patil Pratishthan’s Institute of Nursing Education. Celebrated the Lamp-Lighting Ceremony of GNM students on 11th December 2002.

Chief Guest for the function was Dr. Sawant, Medical Superintendent Urban Health Center, Bhosari. Other guests included. Dr. D.L. Ingole, Dean, D. Y. Patil Medical College for Women, HOD’s of various departments, Matron of YCMH, students & Parents.

The programme started with a prayer song by First year GNM students. The Chairperson and Guest lighted the Lamp. Ms. Kalpana Jaikar, Nursing Tutor gave a brief report regarding the Institute.

The passing of light was done by Principal, Mrs. Vijaya Patil and Smt. Kulkarni, Senior Tutor, followed by the pledge. Ms. Manisha Phadtare, Nursing Tutor, administered the pledge to all the newcomers.

Lamp Lighting Ceremony of the 6th Batch students of St. Joseph’s School of Nursing Hoshangabad was held on 5th November 2002 at Nursing School Auditorium. Dr. Sr. Irene welcomed the dignitaries. The Chief Guest of the occasion was Rev. Pascal Topno.

Dr. Gouri Saxena congratulated and enlightened the students on their role and responsibilities. The colourful lamp lighting and oath taking ceremony was followed by an entertainment programme. Sister Tutor Miss. Sarita Mure proposed the vote of thanks.

The Graduation Ceremony of 2nd Batch. G.N.M. students was held at the school auditorium. Principal Sr. Lazaria addressed the students Rev. Dr. Sr. Lissy Jose F.C.C., Physician and the Director of St. Joseph’s Hospital distributed the certificates and felicitated the students. Dr. Sr. Irene Administrator of the Hospital presented a welcome and Sister Tutor Pavithra extended thanks to the participants.
