Caption: Three life-size sculptures of George Washington will go on display at Mount Vernon, Washington’s Virginia estate, this fall. Washington is depicted at age 19 (left); at 45 (top right), when he took command of the Continental Army; and at 57, when he became president. Artists used forensic data and computer software to create the wax sculptures, which are said to be the most accurate images of the first president.
