“The healing power of creativity” – National MS Society – National Multiple Sclerosis Society

Our 2003 calendar is the result of the Talent Bank outreach program, which began in 2001 with a call for work from professional artists and photographers who have MS. More than 200 people responded to the call.

The work of many of these artists is beginning to show up in our publications and on our Web site. For example, “A Private Write” (pages 34-38) features two paintings: “Riders on the Shore” by Ian Darragh (page 34) and “Seated Woman” by James Iatridis (page 36). And “Let Me Tell You” (page 68) displays one of the lush paintings created by Dr. Brett Curtis Weber, an artist and scientist.

For more information on our 2003 calendar, please see the inside back cover (page 79). The Talent Bank continues to cultivate artists for Society projects.
