Kids live with MS too – National MS Society News – multiple sclerosis
WHEN A MOM OR DAD IS diagnosed, everyone in the family has to deal with it. Trying to keep MS secret just doesn’t work: kids always know when grown-ups are going through hard times. To help the youngest family members, the National MS Society publishes “Keep S’myelin”, a colorful quarterly newsletter.
Stories, cartoons, puzzles, and games explain MS to kids. A pull-out section for parents lists resources and offers parenting ideas.
To get “Keep S’myelin”, call 1-800-FIGHT-MS (1-800-344-4867) and select Option #1. Ask to have your child’s name added to the chapter’s mailing list.
