Merck & Co. Inc – creates Merck Manufacturing Division – Brief Article
Merck & Co. Inc., created a worldwide manufacturing division that will bring together chemical, pharmaceutical and biological manufacturing with corporate engineering, safety and environmental operations.
John L. Zabriskie, M.D., Merck’s senior vice president, will serve as president of the new Merck Manufacturing Division.
MMD will have 12,550 employees, more than 30% of Merck’s total. It will use about 50% of Merck’s global assets.
