Correction
The article that appeared in the May issue of Health Industry Today (“Corporate consultants: Are they really just stealth sales reps?,” p. 5) contained an error. It was Allegiance Corp., McGaw Park, Ill., that acquired the consulting firm West Hudson Group in a deal that was announced in December 1996.
The article incorrectly identified Baxter International as the company that acquired West Hudson, a firm that focuses on labor and productivity issues. r
