Pharmavite – introduces Nature Made Cholest-Off, cholesterol reducing dietary supplement – Brief Article – Statistical Data Included
NORTHRIDGE, Calif. – Pharmavite will be launching Nature Made Cholest-Off in November. Cholest-Off contains a proprietary blend of plant sterols and stanols, which, the company reports, has been clinically proven to naturally reduce cholesterol levels up to 24 percent. Plant sterols and stanols have been popular ingredients in margarines and salad dressings.
“With more than 100 million Americans suffering from borderline to high cholesterol and the recent concerns about the safety of other cholesterol-lowering methods in the news, many consumers want natural and safe solutions in the battle against this serious health concern,” reported Genevieve Beauvais, product manager, new products.
Cholest-Off will be available in 60-count caplets with a suggested retail price of $8.99. Taken regularly as part of a low-fat diet, most consumers will begin to decrease LDL cholesterol levels within 30 days with Cholest-Off, according to Pharmavite.
