Mead’s [Techmates.sup.TM] Collection adds Escorts for CDs
After the success of Mead’s CD [Escort.sup.TM] last year, the [Techmates.sup.TM] family has grown to include several new Escorts. In addition to black, the 20-count CD Escort is available in neon green, yellow, orange and blue.
The CD Escort has also been doubled to hold up to 40 disks. Its multi-media capacity frees up work areas, since it eliminates the need to store CDs in their original cases. A detachable carrying strap is included.
CD Escorts feature fabric sleeves that are anti-abrasive, anti-static and heat-resistant inside to protect from scratching, accidental data erasure and heat meltdowns.
A “flipper” feature allows an opening to store CDs on each side. There are also indexing windows and labels to keep track of collections. CD Escorts fit into backpacks, briefcases and glove compartments.
Another new member of the Escort family is Mead’s desktop docking station, a space-saving alternative to CD towers. This compact shelving unit holds up to three CD Escorts or 60 disks vertically or horizontally.
