2008 Ballot Results Are In!
The results are in! Congratulations to Kitty Shulman, MSN, NC, who was elected PresidentElect, and Lenora J. Flint, MSN, MS, RN, PHN, CNS, who was elected to serve on the Nominating Committee.
Kitty Shulman is Director, Children’s Specialty Center, St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center, Boise, ID. Kitty also currently serves as a Director and as Treasurer on the AAACN Board. In her ballot, she stated her desire to “further develop the organization’s potential and explore new avenues for firmly establishing ambulatory care and telehealth nursing practice as integral to health care delivery.” Kitty is “committed to assuring value for your investment in AAACN.”
Lenora Flint is Director, Population Care Management, Kaiser Permanente, Baldwin Park, CA. Lenora explained in her ballot statement that she aims to “contribute back to an organization that has given all of us lifelong rewards.” Lenora sought the votes of her colleagues to enable her to “nominate innovative, accountable, results-oriented, and high-performance leaders for AAACN” by serving on the Nominating Committee.
Our newty elected volunteer leaders will assume their roles at the close of the 33rd Annual Conference in Chicago, on Sunday, April 20, 2008.
