Trade Deal – New World Wine Group meets in Australia – Brief Article

* A group of 65 senior foreign affairs officials from seven New World wine producing countries met in Adelaide in April to initial an agreement to free up the international wine trade.

The agreement, negotiated over the last three years by the New World Wine Group, is expected to develop closer links among the member countries.

U.S. Ambassador to Australia, Edward Gnehm, lead his country’s delegation, and was joined by diplomats from South Africa, New Zealand, Chile, Argentina, Canada and Australia.
