Stone Creek Wines did a great job on Merlot from the great ’97 vintage. And it’s eight bucks! We have some licorice to contend with–but amicably–and could give this a go with, oh, tripes, grilled beef, pork roast or ham. Or, what the hey, mac and cheese. Tasted in April.
