Grower opens Napa winery – Events: Maniar family establishes Diamond Oaks Winery – Brief Article

After 25 years of grapegrowing and vineyard development in Napa and Sonoma counties, the Maniar family has established Diamond Oaks Winery in Oakville at the site of the former Robert Mondavi La Famiglia winery. First releases include 2001 Carneros Chardonnay ($14), 2000 Carneros Reserve Chardonnay ($47) and 2001 Chalk Hill Chardonnay ($32). Ron Brown is winemaker.
