10th Zap Festival Draws A Crowd – Brief Article
Some 9,000 fanciers of Zinfandel were on hand at Fort Mason in Son Francisco for the 10th festival sponsored by Zinfandel Advocates & Producers (ZAP). This year’s event attracted 6,000 additional attendees for a 50% gain over the 2000 event.
This year, 255 producers poured 510 Zinfandels. People came from as far away as Europe, Austrajia and Japan to attend the festival, which includes a Blue Jeans To Black Tie Auction & Dinner and a Good Eats & Zinfandel event in addition to the tasting.
