IRVING, Texas – Promotional Products Association International (PPAI) has hired Paul Elfstrom as its new director of information technology. Elfstrom joins PPAI with 14 years of experience in computer software and information technology.
Elfstrom started his career in tech support for financial software. He also worked in customer service, at the help desk and as an engineer performing network hardware installations. Most recently, he served as the director of information technology for Best U.S. Holdings, a division of Sage Group PLC.
“I plan to look at PPAI’s IT strategy as a whole and hope to streamline it and improve the processes,” Elfstrom said. “I would also like to find something I can do to assist our members.”
Elstrom earned a B.S. degree in Business Management from Moorhead State University in Moorhead, Minn. He currently lives in Frisco, Texas, with his wife and three sons.
SEMINOLE, Fla. – Superior Uniform Group, a manufacturer of uniforms, career apparel and accessories, announced in late October that its board of directors has elected Michael Benstock to the position of CEO of the company.
Benstock joined Superior in 1979 in the manufacturing division, and in 1992, became Co-President. He has served in many different line and staff positions on the production, distribution and operations side of the business. Gerald Benstock will remain as Chairman and Alan Schwartz will continue as President.
Superior Uniform Group’s marketing divisions include Fashion Seal Uniforms, Martin’s, Empire, Appel, Worklon, Universal, and Sope Creek.
