Apparel Central launches QWIC WIC performance polos – Brief Article

MONROE, N.C. – Apparel Central, a promotional industry supplier that brings the Print-Ons, Express Mark, WorkWise and Capital Wear Exchange lines to distributors, has introduced a new specialty line of moisture-wicking polo shirts called QWIC WIC.

John Schnader, a director of the company, says the new shirts won’t be marketed through one of the existing brands, but rather will be offered in a “special type of situation.

“Basically we have planned (QWIC WIC) as a private label program,” he said, explaining that, with a minimum order of 600 of a color, they can be made with a PPD’s label or the identification of a PPD client. “We can do any color configuration a customer wants, but we are primarily focused on white, navy, maroon, black and forest green.”

The QWIC WIC shirts are available in six knits: a pique, a striped pique, a mini waffle, a jacquard, a two-color pique, and a herringbone. The fabric is 100 percent polyester with an outstanding hand, featuring instant moisture wicking, fast drying, soil-release properties, and wrinkle resistance, and the fabric sustains virtually no shrinkage.

Apparel Central’s standard lines cover the gamut, with poly cotton blended shirts being the mainstay in Print-Ons, 100 percent cotton “lesser price with style” shirts in Express Mark, work and uniform-related apparel in WorkWise, and corporate casual in Capital Wear Exchange. The lines all include knits and wovens, and Express Mark also features a few jackets.

The new QWIC WIC shirts are a special program, and Schnader requests that interested buyers contact him directly. For more information call 800-553-2898.
