BELGIUM NATIONAL RAILWAYS has awarded a $215 million contract to a consortium of Bombardier Transportation and Alstom for 210 bilevel coaches, which will be constructed at Bombardier facilities in Belgium. Bombardier’s share of the order is worth $107 million. Deliveries will commence in May 2001 and be completed two years later.
