Seydaco Packaging Corp., a folding carton manufacturer in Mississauga, Ontario, installs a KBA Rapida 105 universal 41- inch six-color plus coater from KBA North America, Williston, Vt. The press is equipped for UV hybrid printing with an end-of-press dryer, because the company is planning to offer UV hybrid printing in the next year to 15 months. Delta Packaging Inc., York, Pa., installs a new Isowa SuperFlex Plus flexo folder-gluer including an inline diecutter. Isowa has sold more than 80 of these systems worldwide, but this is the first U.S. installation. Delta Packaging says it chose the SuperFlex Plus because it is engineered around a combination of features including a 31-inch axis, computerized setup, top printing-down fold folding and squaring, and computerized gap control. Isowa America is based in Tempe, Ariz.
