Iggesund holds Paperboard Clock Contest

IGGESUND, SWEDEN — “Paper Training” is the name of the winning entry in Iggesund Paperboard’s Paperboard Clock Contest. The contest’s goal was to encourage more graphic designers to use Iggesund’s Invercote multi-ply paperboard. The winner is Judith Haase, a designer from Pennsylvania. Her clock was based on paperboard’s whiteness and pliability, and thereby demonstrated the discreet elegance of this natural material. The Paperboard Clock Contest was held for American designers in the fall of 2002. More than 1,000 American designers received a sample of a clock, that apart from its movement, was made entirely out of paperboard.
