Central Piedmont dedicates Harper Campus

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) officially dedicated the Southwest Campus as Harper Campus on Sept. 17 for Ron and Katherine Harper. The CPCC board of trustees renamed the campus to honor the Harpers for their substantial contributions to the college and to flexographic education, in cooperation with the Foundation of Flexographic Technical Association. More than 300 people attended the event, including college and state officials. The Harper Campus houses the Harper

National Flexographic Center and is host to the annual International Phoenix Challenge High School Flexo Skills Competition. The center operates two Mark Andy 830 flexo presses and two Comco Cadets for hands-on training.
