Metromedia’s Flynn Dekker promoted as Steve Welsh resigns
PLANO, TEXAS — Flynn Dekker has been promoted to senior vice president of marketing for Metromedia Restaurant Group.
Dekker will continue to oversee marketing strategy for the company’s Steak and Ale and The Tavern brands in addition to handling marketing duties for Ponderosa and Bonanza steakhouses.
Metromedia recently put the $8 million Ponderosa and Bonanza ad account into review.
Dekker joined Metromedia in 2005. In is new position he replaces Steve Welsh, who resigned to pursue other opportunities, the company said.
Metromedia and its franchisees operate more than 700 restaurants in 16 countries.
