USB to offer Hooper’s Hooch “Red Brew” – Brief Article
United States Beverage of Stamford, CT, has announced the debut of Hooper’s Hooch Red Brew during May and June through the Eastern, Central and Southern regions of the U.S. The company says that the 300% growth rate for Hooper’s lemon and orange brews led to the development of a “red brew” extension. Hooch is projected to sell over three million cases in 2000.
“The incredible year-round demand for our flavored brews shows that consumers are serious about finding an alternative to beer or distilled spirits,” says Joe Fisch, president and CEO of United States Beverage. “Our new Red Brew gives consumers yet another choice and gives our distributors another premium product to market in this profitable beverage segment.”
Mr. Fisch reports that Hooch has benefited from making the Hooch brands with real fruit juices, distinct from very sweet, blended “alcoholic lemonades.”
