partner program in 2007 and the appointment of software industry veteran

Tom Rydz as vice president of channels, North America. The move represents

the company’s renewed commitment in leveraging partnerships to continue

expanding its market share in the rapidly growing business intelligence and

enterprise integration sectors.

In 2007, Information Builders focused heavily on strengthening key

partnerships and increasing revenue generated through these partners,

— IBM – A worldwide OEM agreement for using WebFOCUS in a special

edition of the IBM DB2 Web Query for System i has been finalized. System i

is the premier platform for small and medium-sized businesses.

— SPSS – The companies provide powerful analytical and management

solutions for many state and local law enforcement organizations. The City

of Richmond Police Department successfully used the joint solution to

enhance crime prevention and received industry accolades from Gartner

Research and The Data Warehouse Institute.

— BEA – Information Builders iWay adapters were deployed to provide a

wider range of data and application solutions for joint customers, enabling

them to deploy BEA technologies more quickly and efficiently than ever

before.

— Lombardi Software – Together, the companies offer sophisticated

business process management capabilities that can access applications, ERP

systems, and databases so customers know what is occurring in their

business process by using a graphical and Web-based interface.

— ESRI – Embedding ArcGIS with both Information Builders analytics and

data access platforms enables customers, including City of Houston Police

Department, Hillman Group, and Northern Kentucky Area Planning Commission,

to integrate their production systems with mapping and spatial

capabilities.

Additionally, Information Builders closed partnership agreements and joint

customers this year with CH Mack, Hewlett-Packard, Integral Systems, Sirius

Computer Systems, and Vitria.

Tom Rydz Named Vice President of Channels, North America

With 25 years of experience in the software industry, Tom Rydz joins

Information Builders with a wealth of expertise in sales, as well as

establishing and managing reseller programs. Rydz built SI programs at

Sybase Inc. and Vitria Technology and has completed SI, ISV, and OEM

programs and agreements for other BI companies, including an OEM agreement

with IBM. At Vitria, Rydz built the worldwide SI alliance program and

managed a team responsible for generating revenue through companies like

BearingPoint and CapGemini. Based in the Information Builders Chicago

office, Rydz will oversee North American channels programs.
