The Pepsi Bottling Group Inc., the largest maker and distributor of Pepsi soft drinks, said it plans buy the Pepsi operations of Seltzer and Rydholm Inc., including a production, distribution and sales facility in Auburn, Maine, and distribution centers in Portland and Augusta, Maine. It serves all or portions of 11 counties in southern and central Maine to expand operations throughout the state. Terms of the acquisition, expected to close in the fall, were not disclosed.
