EarthLink Business Solutions upgrades business web hosting and e-mail platforms

EarthLink Business Solutions, a business communications solutions provider and unit of EarthLink Inc (Nasdaq:ELNK), has revealed it has upgraded its business web hosting and e-mail platforms, to provide more control and flexibility for customers managing their web presence and business e-mail accounts.
The company also confirmed that it has improved the online control centre that is used by customers to access account management functions. It claimed the new EarthLink control centre is intuitive and ensures easier navigation to tools and resources, even for users with limited web hosting, e-commerce and e-mail account management knowledge.
EarthLink Business Solutions said its web hosting customers now gain 25 MySQL databases able to store up to 200MB of data each, as a standard offering. Customers also gain access to the company’s e-mail features such as spamBlocker, WebMail, and a feature which enables mailbox owners to store files on the business’s website using FTP Dropboxes.
The company said the new platform will allow it more flexibility to introduce new features and service options and claimed the changes will enable customers to make changes more quickly and do more themselves.
