CABLEXpress opens renovated Syracuse center

CABLExpress Technologies has finished a $750,000-renovation of the company’s Ainsley Drive distribution center in the City of Syracuse. The networking-equipment seller uses the facility to refurbish and ship used computer equipment sold under its “equal2new” brand. CABLExpress recently completed a $3million software upgrade in support of the project.

The renovation project added more workstations for equipment testing, a new configuration room, and upgraded testing equipment. CABLExpress founder William Pomeroy hosted a reception at the center June 13.

With headquarters in North Syracuse, CABLExpress is the world’s largest seller of older computer networking equipment.
